Karachi may see urban flooding between August 30 and September 2, according to a rain notice issued by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Tuesday for several regions of the nation.
The meteorological authority predicts that heavy rainfall is predicted in Punjab’s northern and northeastern regions on August 30 and 31, while thunderstorms with rain are forecast in Islamabad from August 29 to September 2.
Between August 30 and August 31, rain is predicted in Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Gujrat, Narowal, Hafizabad, and Mandi Bahauddin.
Between August 29 and August 31, rain is also predicted for central and southern Punjab, enhancing the possibility of flooding in low-lying areas.
