Over the Indian Rann of Kutch, a deep depression is expected to enter the Arabian Sea.
Because of strong low-pressure winds over the Arabian Sea, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert on a possible cyclone threat along the coast of Sindh.
The Meteorological Department predicts that the low-pressure system, which is currently over the run-off area, will approach the Sindh coastline by tonight or tomorrow. There is a chance that this system will intensify into a cyclone.
The department has issued a warning over the system, predicting significant rainfall in Hyderabad, Tando Muhammad Khan, Badin, Thatta, Sajawal, Tharparkar, Karachi, and Badin. The Meteorological Department’s Cyclone Warning System is keeping a careful eye on the situation.
The Indian Rann of Kutch and the surrounding areas are currently under a deep depression that has been slowly encroaching over the past twelve hours.
