KARACHI: Forecasters warned of a new rainstorm within the next 24 to 48 hours and the ongoing risk of urban flooding as Karachi remained soaked through Tuesday due to intermittent rainfall.
Throughout the day, there were several showers in a number of locations, including II Chundrigar Road, the Old City area and neighboring regions, Sharea Faisal, Tariq Road, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, and other parts of the city.
In Orangi Town, Saddar, Clifton, Garden, Liaquatabad, Korangi, Landhi, Surjani, New Karachi, North Karachi, Nazimabad, and Nagan Chowrangi, rain was also reported. As locals prepared for more rain, the roads and streets remained damp.
