Reality TV star Kate Gosselin has addressed recent speculation that she married her boyfriend, former bodyguard Steve Neild. Fans noticed a ring on her finger in a January 7 TikTok video, sparking rumors about a secret wedding.
Gosselin, known for Jon & Kate Plus 8, dismissed the claims in the comments. Responding to a fan who asked if she had married and how she was managing her weight during recovery, Kate wrote, “No lol, that’s just my regular jewelry. I didn’t—I gained 15 pounds but hope now that I’m moving around it’ll go.”
Kate, 50, shares eight children with ex-husband Jon Gosselin, including 25-year-old twins Mady and Cara and 21-year-old sextuplets Alexis, Joel, Leah, Aadan, Hannah, and Collin.
While there is no wedding to report, Kate offered a glimpse into her life with Neild in the TikTok clip. Still using crutches after a serious leg injury in December, she shopped at a local store while Neild filmed her. Kate revealed she spent over $100 during the outing, joking, “And my GoFundMe, Steve, treated me to a few items. But he also got a t-shirt and a pair of shorts. It’s really rare that he buys himself any clothing, so I’m really happy and proud of him.”
Kate and Neild, who worked as the Gosselin family bodyguard from 2008 to 2014, went public with their relationship in November 2025. That same month, her ex Jon married Stephanie Lebo. Kate first revealed her romance on Instagram, posting photos of Neild with the caption, “My boyfriend.”
