Karachi residents should prepare for significant power disruptions in several regions tomorrow (Tuesday) due to K-Electric (KE) performing maintenance on several grids in the metropolis.
According to a statement from the KE, the Johar, Baldia, and Mehmoodabad grids will undergo maintenance, necessitating a shutdown of the affected areas from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The notification also stated that there might be a brief disruption in the supply of energy in locations linked to the aforementioned grids during the maintenance activities.
Customers can also contact KE through call center 118 or on its social media accounts for additional assistance.
During the maintenance, the following Johar Grid areas could lose power: Bakhtawar Goth, PIA Society, Sachal Goth, Suparco Road, Behavioral Sciences Near Dow Hospital KDA Scheme-33, Prem Villas Phase 1 & 2, Haji, Ramzan Gabol Goth, Baloch Khan, Fatima Sunrise, Johar Block-4, 5 & Sceme-33, Pili Bheet Society, PCSIR Society, Karachi University Society, Gulshan-e-Aresha, Jahangir Town, Johar Complex, Old Ravian, I.B.A Karachi University, Kaneez Fatima Block 1 & 2, Pak Scientist Society, Govt Teacher Society 16/A, Merchant Navy Officers CHS LTD, KDA Employee Society, Rehman Villas, Rufi Shopping, Bright Star, Gulshan-e-Kareem, Okhai Memon, Shekel, Garden, Vasavad Garden, Rafi Premier Residency, and Prem Villas Phase 1 & 2.
