Kelly Osbourne became emotional during her first TV interview since the passing of her father, Black Sabbath legend Ozzy Osbourne.
Talking about the heartfelt tributes in his hometown of Birmingham, the 41-year-old struggled to hold back tears. Ozzy passed away in July after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease, leaving behind a lasting legacy in rock music.
On what would have been his 77th birthday, Ozzy was posthumously awarded Birmingham’s highest civic honor, the Lord Mayor’s Award, presented by Deputy Lord Mayor Ken Wood. Kelly reflected on her father’s dedication, saying he worked tirelessly to perform “one more time” before he was ready to go, leaving a mark on the world that will never be forgotten.
Through tears, Kelly shared, “It has been horrific. I’ve never felt grief like this. I never realized you could love someone so much.”
