In the Netflix movie, Ashton’s character John Taggart and Reinhold’s character Billy Rosewood reconnect as the police team.
It was the first time Murphy, Reinhold, and Ashton had been on screen together since the 1987 release of the sequel, and it recreated a scene from the 1985 original.
