ISLAMABAD: According to The News, Pakistan is completing the agenda for the next meeting of the Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which includes requesting funds for the updated Rs502-billion Karakoram Highway (KKH) Phase-II project.
The wish list, which includes KKH-II, Mainline (ML-1), and Eastbay Expressway, is on the agenda for the JCC’s September 26 meeting in Beijing.
Top official sources stated on Friday that the JCC meeting’s agenda is still being finalized and would be finalized next week.
Ahsan Iqbal, the federal minister of planning, stated that work was underway and would be completed the following week.
