Kieron Pollard, the Karachi Kings’ batter, has temporarily left the squad to attend the big wedding of Indian businessman Mukesh Ambani’s son in India. The cricketer has received a four-day leave from the Karachi Kings for the event and is scheduled to arrive in Jamnagar, India, today.
According to sources, in addition to Indian cricketers, international players are expected to attend Anant Ambani’s lavish wedding celebrations. Pollard had previously played for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for quite some time.
Karachi Kings will meet Multan Sultans in their next Pakistan Super League (PSL) encounter on March 3. Pollard’s temporary leave for the high-profile wedding shows the connection between athletics and luxury, notably the renowned Ambani family, known for hosting opulent celebrations.
