For the first time in almost two years, the monarch had a direct discussion with the Duchess of Sussex and Lilibet via FaceTime, according to Closer Magazine.
According to an insider, Harry set up the quick but heartfelt phone call during their most recent encounter in an effort to reassure his father that there is still hope for a reconciliation.
Meghan reportedly had a brief conversation with the King before young Lilibet arrived to see him. The source said, “It was brief but sweet.”
