Following the palace’s announcement on Wednesday that the monarch will receive treatment for an enlarged prostate, Britain’s King Charles was spotted for the first time.
Daily Mail Online reports that on Friday morning, King Charles and Queen Camilla were seen being driven in Aberdeen.
The article claims that after receiving a diagnosis of a benign enlarged prostate, Charles, who has been staying at his private residence Birkhall in Aberdeenshire, is getting ready for a corrective surgery.
Next week, he’ll be admitted to the hospital.
“The king has sought treatment for an enlarged prostate each year, in common with thousands of men,” the palace said in a statement released on Wednesday.
In a further statement, Buckingham Palace stated Prince Charles will have a “corrective procedure” at the hospital the following week.
Prior to this, Camilla provided an update on King Charles’ health while she was at the Aberdeen Art Gallery. The Lord Provost had questioned Camilla about the monarch.
