Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, presided over the meeting.
The meeting was attended by additional chief secretaries, concerned administrative secretaries, and other board members.
The decision to choose Chamkani to Hayatabad Ring Road as the BRT route was made during the conference. For the convenience of the public, it was also agreed to operate BRT-style buses on the mentioned route.
All divisional heads are required to operate electric buses in their metropolitan regions, per CM Gandapur’s directive. He suggested that the relevant departments and other partners should create practical plans in this regard. It was decided to grant free transport to kids up to five years old.
