Lainey Wilson turns to her faith in the midst of the demands of fame and the music business.
The 31-year-old country music star said to News, “I feel like there’s a few things that keep me grounded,” in advance of this week’s 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards. “My faith, most importantly.”
“I talk to God a lot, but I also run my mouth a lot,” she continued. I firmly believe that maintaining as much groundedness as you can is crucial. I believe all the tiny tricks are there if it means picking up the phone, talking to your mother, your relatives, your nephews, and surrounding yourself with the people who love and know you the best. That’s my current activity.”
