Bronny was selected by his Los Angeles Lakers with the 55th overall choice in the NBA Draft.
They make NBA history as the first father-son team to play together.
Some have speculated in recent years that James would retire after playing alongside his kid for a single NBA season, since he once stated that it would be his final year with the team.
However, Rich Paul, their agent, stated last week that the two were not a bundle deal.
Paul claimed that LeBron was more concerned with Bronny’s advancement in the league and was “off” the “idea” of playing beside his kid.
But it appeared strange that Bronny had invitations to work out with ten or more teams, but he only accepted.
But according to Paul, that was all done “by design.”
When the two take the floor together for the first time, history will be made in any case.
Scouts weren’t very complimentary of Bronny; one even declared that he was “not an NBA prospect.” He averaged less than five points per game in his one and only season with the USC Trojans.
In July 2023, while working out at USC, Bronny suffered a heart collapse, which ended his collegiate career before it even started. He was found to have a congenital cardiac abnormality later on. The Associated Press recently reported that he was medically cleared to play in the NBA and that he was cleared to return.
