LDA demolishes five illegal buildings in Lahore

The LDA personnel demolished a number of stores that were erroneously built on two Gujjarpura plots. In Shadbagh, an illegal commercial building addition was largely removed. Two Shadman structures were demolished due to bylaw violations.
The operation was overseen by LDA Director Town Planning-I Ayesha Mutahir and was conducted by enforcement teams with the assistance of police and heavy machinery. The owners of these structures were provided with multiple notices prior to the operation, according to LDA officials.
Director General Tahir Farooq of the LDA has ordered ongoing indiscriminate operations against unlawful business use in Lahore, encroachments, and violations of parking and construction rules.
