LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday unveiled the schedule for the men’s 2024–25 home international cricket season, promising cricket enthusiasts in Pakistan plenty of action on home soil this year.

In preparation for the eight-team ICC Champions Trophy 2025 on home soil, the cricket board announced that the national side will play three Test series on home soil and take part in the first ODI tri-series in twenty-one years.

Bangladesh will play two Test matches in the opening series of the 2024–25 home international season: one in Rawalpindi (August 21–25) and another in Karachi (August 30-September 3).

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final, which is scheduled for March 9, will mark the conclusion of the international season.

In the meanwhile, Pakistan will play three Test matches against England in Rawalpindi (October 24-28), Karachi (October 15–19), and Multan (October 7–11). On the other hand, two Test matches involving the West Indies will be held here in Karachi (January 16–20) and Multan (January 24-28).

In addition, from February 8 to 14, an ODI tri-series in Multan will feature South Africa and New Zealand.

The last time Bangladesh played a Test match in Pakistan was in February 2020; in contrast, England won all three matches in December 2022. The West Indies will visit Pakistan for the first time as a Test team since November 2006, when Brian Lara led the team in a match against Inzamam-ul-Haq’s team, during the 2025 series. The last time Pakistan hosted the West Indies for a Test series was in the United Arab Emirates in October 2016.
