Levi Strauss & Co., the company behind Levi’s jeans, is bringing a new voice to its board. Jeffrey J. Jones II, a marketing and brand expert with more than 30 years of experience, will join on January 21, 2026.
Jones’s Career Journey
Jones currently leads H&R Block as president and CEO but will step down on December 31, 2025, to join Levi Strauss. His career includes high-profile roles at some of the biggest companies:
- Uber – Led the Ride Sharing division, managing operations, strategy, customer support, and marketing.
- Target – Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, handling brand management, digital strategy, and corporate communications.
- Gap – Held key leadership positions earlier in his career.
- McKinney Advertising – Partner and president, managing major client campaigns and building the agency’s growth.
His experience in marketing, brand building, and connecting with consumers makes him a great fit for Levi Strauss.
What Jones Will Do at Levi Strauss
At Levi Strauss, Jones will be part of the nominating, governance, and corporate citizenship committee and the compensation and human capital committee. His background in direct-to-consumer strategies aligns with Levi Strauss’s plans to grow in that area.
