Early Tuesday morning, light rain and drizzle fell in several areas of Karachi, providing people with a little reprieve from the city’s generally hot and muggy weather.
As commuters headed to work, there were reports of light showers coming from Saddar, Garden, II Chundrigar Road, and the surrounding areas.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that sea clouds and moist breezes coming in from the Arabian Sea were the cause of the rainfall. Over the next 24 hours, the department predicts partly cloudy sky and consistently humid conditions throughout the city, with the potential for more drizzle or light rain in certain locations.
The lowest temperature on Tuesday morning was 26°C, while the highest temperature is predicted to remain between 30°C and 32°C.
