KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that temperatures in Karachi will rise to as high as 38°C on Monday, with light to moderate rainfall expected in some areas of the city on September 30.
The meteorological department’s press release states that isolated rainfall is probable in Jamshoro, Matiari, Mirpurkhas, and Sanghar from September 29 to 30, while rain and dust storms are expected in Tharparkar, Umerkot, Badin, Sujawal, Thatta, Tando Mohammad Khan, and Hyderabad.
Karachi’s temperature is predicted to be around 36°C on Sunday and could reach 38°C on Monday, according to the Met Office.
Earlier this month, on the morning of the 16th, Karachi experienced spots of drizzle and mild rain.
