Lululemon plans to expand its global presence in 2026 by launching in six new countries. This will be the brand’s largest number of new market entries in a single year.
Major International Growth Move
The company will enter five European countries: Greece, Austria, Poland, Hungary, and Romania. It will also move into India, a plan announced earlier. This expansion reflects rising global demand for Lululemon products.
Lululemon will carry out the launches using its franchise partnership model. In Europe, the brand will work with Arion Retail Group. In India, it will partner with Tata CLiQ to support its digital rollout.
Digital Access Comes First
Customers in Greece, Austria, Poland, Hungary, and Romania will be able to shop the full Lululemon range online. Indian consumers will access the brand through Tata CLiQ Luxury and Tata CLiQ Fashion.
Physical stores are also planned for these markets. However, the company has not shared store locations or opening dates yet. Lululemon expects to release those details early next year.
Focus on Community and Wellbeing
Community engagement remains a key part of Lululemon’s strategy. The brand plans to grow its local ambassador network in each new market. It will also host events focused on movement, fitness, and wellbeing.
Sarah Clark, senior vice president for EMEA at Lululemon, said the company is excited about the expansion. She noted strong interest in the brand across Europe and Asia Pacific. Clark added that each new market offers clear growth potential.
She also highlighted the role of franchise partners. According to her, they will help deliver strong guest experiences and introduce Lululemon products to new audiences.
Continued Global Expansion
Lululemon currently operates in more than 30 markets worldwide. These include North America, EMEA, Asia Pacific, and mainland China.
The upcoming launches follow recent growth across Europe. Earlier this year, the brand entered Italy. It also opened franchise led locations in Denmark, Turkey, and Belgium.
The 2026 expansion builds on this momentum. It shows Lululemon’s long term commitment to global growth.
