The leader of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), speaking to an enthralled assembly, claimed that the Central Bureau of Investigation (NIA), Income Tax Department, Border Security Force (BSF), and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) were all acting on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She claimed that these organizations were trying to sway the results of elections in the saffron camp’s favor.
“We will humbly plead with the Election Commission to ensure a level playing field as central agencies are aligning with the saffron camp,” Banerjee said, promising her party that it would not be defeated by the “threat of central agencies.”
In a daring step, Banerjee urged residents to file police complaints and record incidents of BSF abuse prior to the April 19 elections.
