Despite his team’s victory in the Women’s FA Cup, Manchester United manager Marc Skinner says he understands why the club decided to postpone their end-of-season awards banquet.
The men’s team is getting ready for their FA Cup final matchup with Manchester City on May 25, so the dinner has been postponed.
The men’s team at United is now tenth in the Premier League after a generally dismal season.
“I sit in a position of celebration rather than worrying about what has and hasn’t happened,” Skinner stated.
“I understand the decision, I respect it and our girls will be presented at the appropriate time with the successes that a club will celebrate.”
Man Utd’s Skinner is aware of the award dinner cancellation.
