Two exploratory licenses for mineral exploration have been granted by Mari Mining Company Private Limited, a subsidiary of Mari Petroleum Company Limited, for the Chagai district of Balochistan. The Directorate General of Mines and Minerals Balochistan granted the permits, which span 501 and 513 square kilometers of land, respectively.
At the Mari Gas Field in Daharki, Sindh, the parent firm, Mari Petroleum, operates the greatest gas reserves in the nation and is the second-largest producer of natural gas in Pakistan. Compared to other national and international companies in the area, the company’s 70% exploration success rate is impressive.
This action comes after National Resources Limited, a division of Reliance Commodities Private Limited, acquired a comparable license for mineral exploration in the Chagai district.
Balochistan, endowed with abundant natural resources and minerals, has been rapidly developing as a result of the Special Investment Facilitation Council’s (SIFC) efforts. With its efforts anticipated to provide favorable outcomes in the upcoming years, the SIFC is dedicated to resolving Pakistan’s energy dilemma.
