Mariah Carey has delightfully flaunted her diva status in a new video, joining the social media trend of “of course.”
Mariah Carey posted the video to Instagram with the comment, “Sunday Camp! #ofcourse.” The video is synchronized with her own song, Obsessed, and features a playful “Of Course” phrase in each scene.
Carey is seen in the opening of the clip exercising on a leg press machine while sporting a gorgeous gold gown. “This is my workout outfit, of course. I’m Mariah Carey,” she jokes.
The next thing we see of her is her fully made-up, white outfit, lying in bed. “I’m Mariah Carey … of course my glam squad is on standby,” she says to the camera as two makeup artists start powdering her face with brushes.
She can be seen sitting with her pets in another amusing scene, where she declares, “I’m Mariah Carey… of course my puppies get pampered after they poop.” As she joins in, some of her teammates can be seen petting her dogs.

This comes after Mariah Carey announced in December of last year that she and her long-term partner Bryan Tanaka had split. After seven years of dating, Tanaka transitioned from being her backup dancer to her lover and creative director.
