Matthew Trickett, 37, was charged with violations of the National Security Act earlier this month.
His family issued a statement, saying, “We are mourning the loss of a much-loved son, brother, and family member.”
They also requested privacy “at this difficult time”.
Thames Valley Police said officers were dispatched to Grenfell Park, Maidenhead, at around 5.15pm on Sunday after receiving a report from a member of the public.
According to a police statement, officers arrived at the location and discovered a guy. Emergency treatment was initiated, but the individual was pronounced dead on the site.
