Because to the ongoing flood scenario, the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) has been rescheduled throughout Pakistan. Authorities stated that the exam, which was originally scheduled for October 5, will now take place on Sunday, October 26.
The exam date was shifted for the benefit of the students.
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) claims that Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal gave the order for the decision to be made. According to the minister, the modification was intended to help students who are struggling in areas affected by flooding.
In order to make sure that everyone involved approved of the updated timetable, the council further explained that the new date was decided upon after consulting with colleges nationwide.
A revised timeline and an earlier schedule
Originally planned for October 5, the MDCAT was delayed due to significant flooding in several areas.
