The Prince and Princess of Wales offered Prince Harry and Meghan Markle a helping hand, but the Duchess turned them down, according to royal historian and author Tom Quinn.
The expert told The Mirror that William and Kate requested that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex bring their kids, Lilibet and Archie, to the UK for a family vacation.
The Prince and Princess of Wales’ request, according to the expert, was intended to heal the long-standing animosity between the Sussexes and the royal family.
Quinn said that William and Kate wanted to promote reconciliation, which is why they invited her.
