Javier Mascherano, the coach of Inter Miami, has denied media reports that he and Argentine superstar Lionel Messi are at odds.
During last week’s 5-3 loss to the Chicago Fire at Chase Stadium, Mascherano and Messi got into a violent argument.
Tomas Aviles got Miami back on track after they had fallen behind 2-0 in the game. Luis Suarez scored two goals in the second half to square the score at three.
But in the last stages of the match, the visiting team scored two more goals to secure the win.
