Michelle Pfeiffer has talked candidly about her feelings of terror on the Scarface set.
The 67-year-old American actress and producer, who portrayed Elvira Hancock opposite Al Pacino’s Tony Montana in the 1983 picture, revealed she was “terrified” on the set on the SmartLess podcast’s Monday, September 29 episode.
“I didn’t have any idea it would become sort of a cultural phenomenon,” Pfeiffer said in an interview with podcast hosts Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes.
She continued by saying that it was “really intense” for her and that they had to film for a total of six months rather than the four that were originally scheduled.
