Mila Kunis has opened up about the challenging and often underappreciated role she has taken on in her neighborhood. The 42-year-old actress revealed that she serves as the head of the Homeowners Association (HOA) in her community, a position many shy away from. Despite volunteering for the role, Kunis says it comes with its fair share of frustrations.
Speaking on the Today show, Kunis shared, “All people do is complain — all I get is complaints all day long. No one ever goes, ‘You know what? Thank you so much’ for anything — ever!” She emphasized that while she took on the role willingly, it often feels like a thankless job as residents rarely express appreciation for her efforts.
Kunis hopes to use her public platform to highlight the struggles of HOA presidents across the United States. She added, “I want to thank all other homeowners, members of the homeowners association, and the presidents for all their hard work — because no one ever says thank you.”
On the work front, Kunis is busy with her upcoming movie, Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery. She stars alongside Daniel Craig and Jeremy Renner in the Netflix release, scheduled for December 12. Fans of the Knives Out franchise can look forward to another thrilling addition to the series.
