KARACHI: With forecasts of “very heavy downpours” and thunderstorms, heavy to moderate rains battered areas of Karachi Monday night, potentially causing urban flooding in the city.
While certain localities around Shahrea Faisal and several blocks of Gulistan-e-Johar experienced strong downpours, I I Chundrigar Road and its surrounding regions experienced modest rain.
Light to heavy rains are also experienced in parts of Scheme 33, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, and the M9 Motorway.
