Details reveal that Pakistani batsman Babar Azam had also moved up one spot to claim the eleventh spot. Veteran hitter Joe Root of England has held the top spot.
Batsman Kamindu Mendis of Sri Lanka has jumped six spots to take 19th place.
In the meantime, veteran Indian bowler Ravichandran Ashwin has taken the top spot in the red-ball format bowling rankings.
The speedster from Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, has moved back into the top 10 bowlers in the Test cricket rankings.
