Police have provided an alternative version of events, claiming that they carried out a search warrant at the correct address and that the child was not hurt in the process.

However, Courtney Price claims to have evidence to the contrary after sharing an audio clip from her doorbell camera with Sky’s US partner, NBC News.

The phrase “It’s the wrong house” is audible in the recording. It’s not clear who said what.

According to NBC News, the warrant was issued for a teenager who no longer resides at the home that Ms. Price’s aunt and uncle, who are unrelated to the suspect, rent.

The incident on January 10th was described as “serious and disturbing” by Elyria, Ohio, mayor Kevin A. Brubaker, who also ordered an investigation.

On Tuesday night, he made body camera footage public. It showed police pounding on the front door and calling out to the residents to “come to the door” before breaking in with a battering ram, flashing the flash bangs, and going inside the house.

“I’m afraid; my baby is in here.”

Waylon, Ms. Price’s prematurely born son with special needs, was at home with his parents. She had moved in with her aunt and uncle at the beginning of the year.
