The bear – a grown-up female – and her three fledglings crashed through the entryway at a home in Lake City, a southwestern Colorado condo to 400 individuals, on Thursday night.
Colorado Parks and Natural life said on Saturday that the man, 74, attempted to shoo the substantiate of his home with a kitchen seat, prior to being thumped into a wall and pawed at.
He endured wounds to his head, neck, arms, shoulder, midsection and calf before he and his significant other disappeared to a room.
The untamed life organization said a sheriff’s representative pursued the confirms, and clinical responders treated the man at his home.
Colorado natural life official Lucas Martin said: “It’s positively fortunate we didn’t have a casualty since it was close.”
The bear and whelps are remembered to have broken into the home looking for food.
State natural life supervisors killed every one of the four bears after the assault, which is standard practice for bears which partner individuals with food, the organization said.
