Strengthening global cooperation in natural diamonds
The Natural Diamond Council has officially welcomed ENDIAMA E.P. and SODIAM E.P. as new members. The move marks a major step in expanding global cooperation across the natural diamond industry, especially among producing nations.
According to the Council, broader representation will help the industry speak with one voice. As a result, it will also strengthen consumer trust and awareness around natural diamonds.
Industry leaders stress unity and shared storytelling
Sandrine Conseiller, CEO of De Beers Brands and chair of the Natural Diamond Council, said the industry’s future depends on collaboration. She explained that telling the true story of natural diamonds is essential, not only their beauty but also their role in economic development.
Moreover, she said adding ENDIAMA E.P. and SODIAM E.P. will help amplify the industry’s message. With stronger representation across the value chain, the Council can better educate consumers and reinforce confidence in natural diamonds as rare creations of nature with lasting social impact.

Alignment with the Luanda Accord
This membership expansion follows the principles of the Luanda Accord, signed in June 2025. The agreement brought together diamond producing nations and De Beers to support the long term health of the natural diamond industry.
As such, the decision reflects a shared commitment to responsible growth and collective action.
