500 new scholarships for Pakistani students have been announced by the Bangladeshi government.
Dr. Khalid Hussain, the Government of Bangladesh’s Advisor on Religious Affairs, made the remark Monday in Lahore while meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif.
The goal of the meeting, which Bangladesh High Commissioner MD Iqbal Hussain Khan also attended, was to improve cooperation in the areas of public relations, trade, agriculture, energy, education, and the economy.
Nawaz Sharif recalled the “heartfelt love” that Pakistanis still have for their Bangladeshi compatriots while highlighting the two nations’ longstanding relationship.
