In the midst of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rallies taking place in various parts of Punjab, President Nawaz Sharif of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has urged Imran Khan, the founder of the party, to be humble and to stop making grandiose claims. Khan is now detained.
“You reap what you sow,” the three-time prime minister stated to jailed PTI founder while addressing a ceremony relating to “Apna Ghar Apni Chat” Scheme.
His remarks coincided with the PTI’s ongoing anti-government campaign, which is being carried out today (Wednesday) with demonstrations being held across Punjab by party members and supporters.
The head of the ruling party claimed that the PTI was not interested in the province’s development, although he did not mention them.
