Three minutes and thirty-six seconds into the game, Green was shown his fourth yellow card of the year after he contested a foul call against Stephen Curry.
After protesting a personal call earlier, it was his second technical foul.
Following his suspension in December for hitting Phoenix Suns player Jusuf Nurkic, Green missed 16 games.
When the 34-year-old placed Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert in a headlock in November, he was suspended for five games.
In the previous season’s playoffs, he was also punished for stamping on Domantas Sabonis of the Sacramento Kings.
The Warriors, who are tenth in the Western Conference, supported their victory on Tuesday despite Green’s ejection.
LeBron James returned for the Los Angeles Lakers as they defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 136-124, extending their winning streak to five games and pulling them a game and a half behind the eighth-place Sacramento Kings in the Western Conference. James had missed Tuesday’s victory over the Milwaukee Bucks due to an ankle injury.
