In Islamabad, a new book exploring the tense relationship between India and Pakistan was released.
The unresolved issues that have characterized the two neighbors’ relationship are examined in the book Pakistan-India Relations – Fractured Past, Uncertain Future, written by former diplomat Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry.
According to Ambassador Chaudhry, the book poses a crucial query: is there a bigger factor at work here, or is the failure to create good neighborliness a result of the terrorist and Kashmir conflicts? He underlined India’s failure to resolve the Kashmir issue, its politicization of terrorism, and its desire of regional domination.
The book also looks back at previous mistakes and asks whether South Asia might still have a brighter future.
