This week, Dan Canales’s newly assembled offense in Charlotte will be led by veteran quarterback Andy Dalton. In his first two games, Young has thrown three interceptions, zero touchdowns, and just 245 yards with a 55.4% completion percentage.
The Panthers made a significant financial commitment to Young by giving up two years ago experienced receiver D.J. Moore and high draft picks to the Chicago Bears in exchange for the right to choose first overall in the 2023 Draft. In Young, they chose the Crimson Tide product, but the Houston Texans.
