During these games, there’s clearly some kind of voodoo hanging over the LSU bench. On Saturday, the Tigers fell behind South Carolina multiple times before using their rushing offense to overcome a 17-point deficit. The LSU bench let out a sigh of relief after the Gamecocks’ final field goal went wide of the goalpost with time running out, sending the game into overtime. They had to win that game in order for Brian Kelly to continue turning the Tigers into a formidable team once more.
UCF: Those Knights, what about them? With TCU ahead by 21 points, UCF appeared to be out of the game. But when his team was down 28-7 in the third quarter, Gus Malzahn must have delivered one heck of a speech from the sidelines.
