The grave of Megan Thee Stallion’s mother Holly Thomas is in jeopardy because of Nicki Minaj’s trash tune.
The 41-year-old rapper raised eyebrows with her new song Big Foot by making reference to the late singer, which was seen as a jab at the Bongos hitmaker.
TMZ reports that the cemetery has asked the local government to send more security officers to guard Holly’s grave site, who passed away in 2019 due to a brain tumor.
Although there hasn’t been any damage to the site yet, the guards are nonetheless on “high alert.”
Nicki rapped, “How you f**k your mother man when she die? /” in her song. How come you can’t cry on Gayle King?
/ Chile, good-bye / BigFoot, but you’re still a little fry / Lying on your deceased mother.”
Megan’s diss track was released following the release of her new single Hiss, in which she made fun of Nicki’s husband Kenneth Petty—a convicted sex offender—by referencing Megan’s Law.
She rapped, “I don’t really know what the problem is / But I guarantee y’all don’t want me to start. These hoes don’t be mad at Megan. These hoes mad at Megan’s Law.”
A US federal statute known as Megan’s statute mandates that law enforcement agencies make the details of registered sexual offenders public.
