Assessing provincial performance, Bhutto lauded Sindh’s resilience in the face of adversity, particularly highlighting the educational sector’s response to natural disasters. Criticizing the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) approach, he urged humility in acknowledging mistakes and reiterated his commitment to constitutional principles
Imran Khan, the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has stated that President Arif Alvi made the correct decision by not calling a session of the National Assembly.

Imran made these comments at a casual meeting with journalists at Adiala Jail on Tuesday. First and foremost, he stated that he personally dictated the letter sent to the International Monetary Fund.

He clarified that no meetings with other party leaders had taken place since the letter was drafted. He did, however, ensure that the letter would be sent to the IMF today following negotiations with the party leadership.

Discussing the current political atmosphere, Imran Khan once again demanded the resignation of the chief election commissioner, claiming that his party had not been treated fairly.

He accused Pakistan’s Election Commission of rigging even after the polls had been completed, highlighting the importance of fair and transparent electoral processes.

Commenting on recent developments, the former prime minister praised President Arif Alvi’s decision not to convene a meeting of the National Assembly. Despite the PTI’s electoral successes, he expressed concern about the allotment of certain seats, accusing the party of attempting to undermine its success.

“Every attempt was made during the elections to eliminate the PTI,” he said.
