Re-gasified Liquefied Natural Gas (RLNG) prices are set to drop in September 2024, according to a statement from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) have revised prices, according to a recent notice from OGRA.
As stated in the statement, Sui Northern customers would now pay $12.92 per million British thermal units (mmbtu) for RLNG, a $0.15 reduction from the previous pricing.
The new pricing for September is $11.75 per mmbtu. In a similar vein, Sui Southern customers’ RLNG prices have been decreased by $0.15 per mmbtu.
By lowering energy costs and promoting economic growth, this price reduction attempts to relieve customers.
