RAWALPINDI: On Friday, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) released a statement recognizing Olympian Arshad Nadeem’s historic achievement. The celebration was held by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at the Army Auditorium General Headquarters (GHQ).
Nadeem threw a tremendous 92.97 meters in the javelin during the final quest of the Paris Olympics 2024, earning Pakistan its first-ever individual gold medal in the history of the games, its first in athletics, and its first gold in any discipline in the previous 40 years.
The Pakistani celebrity’s Olympic achievement was met with widespread acclaim and admiration throughout the nation.
