The 33-year-old, who was named to Great Britain’s Olympic squad on Thursday, is one of their best chances to win a gold medal at the Games this summer.
She set a British record in her category with her silver in Rio 2016, and she added two individual world medals to her bronze in Tokyo 2020.
“Every time I achieve something, I’m like ‘what’s next?'” Page stated to Sport.
“There’s a ceiling but you want to break it each time.”
That was actually the situation when she was younger; her instructors had to relocate the trampoline to ensure that she wouldn’t bounce straight into the ceiling.
Before taking up gymnastics and trampolining as a child, Page began her career on a garden trampoline. Throughout her career, she has broken numerous records, including being the first British female gymnast to win medals in two Olympics.
It hasn’t been easy, though, since Page had to relearn every fundamental trampoline technique after experiencing a serious mental block early in her career. She also had to cope with the disappointment of being injured and missing her home Olympics in London 2012.
