Littler, 17, gained notoriety by finishing second in the World Darts Championship to Luke Humphries.
After making it to the final in week two in Berlin, the rookie from the Premier League lost to Michael van Gerwen.
Van Gerwen, the man who had defeated him in the January World final, was defeated by him in the semifinals, and Humphries in the quarterfinals.
In the eight-player Premier League Darts standings, Littler jumps to the second rank with the win. The top four players advance to the play-offs, which will take place at London’s O2 Arena on May 23.
Littler said, “I’m happy to win,” to news Sports. “Tonight, I practiced more, and it was beneficial.
This has to be fun for me. You won’t play or perform well if you don’t enjoy it.
Littler has continued to progress through the ranks of the sport by winning the Players Championship One event and the Bahrain Masters since losing in the World final in January.
Despite two quarterfinal losses in the first eight weeks of his Premier League career, this victory puts him on course to make the playoffs.
