After her “planned” stomach surgery, Kate Middleton has been recovering in the hospital for a week.
After undergoing stomach surgery last week, Kate, the Princess of Wales, canceled all of her royal obligations until Easter.
Although the public was not informed of the nature of the procedure, Kensington Palace posted an official statement on Kate and Prince William’s Instagram.
It stated, “The surgery was successful, and it is expected that she will remain in hospital for ten to fourteen days, before returning home to continue her recovery.”
The statement went on, “She is unlikely to return to public duties until after Easter based on the current medical advice.” “The Princess of Wales is grateful for the attention that this statement will bring about.
According to the Palace, Kate will spend ten to fourteen days in the hospital before continuing her recuperation at home, which may take many months.
Prince William has reportedly made time in his schedule to care for the couple’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
