Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), stated on Friday that Pakistan had benefited much from its defense ties with China.
He claimed in an interview with Chinese media that, with the help of Chinese technology, Pakistan had shot down six planes during the war with India despite having few resources.
He claimed that Pakistan adhered to the Chinese ideal of mutual aid and collaboration and that the phrase “with us or against us” was a Western idea.
Separately, Bhutto-Zardari stated that it is not appropriate to conduct political events during floods.
President Asif Ali Zardari visited China, inspecting agricultural and defense industrial sites, according to the former foreign minister.
