LAHORE: As part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025–27, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has selected an 18-man team for the two-match Test series against South Africa that will be played at home next month.
According to a statement released by the PCB, Shan Masood will continue to captain Pakistan in the longest format, while three uncapped players, Asif Afridi, Faisal Akram, and Rohail Nazir, have also been added.
According to the national cricket regulating body, the team will undergo additional trimming prior to the commencement of the first Test.
In October and November, South Africa will go to Pakistan for a series in all game formats. A two-match Test series will kick off the tour.
